The Startup Zone at Contact Centre Expo is a dedicated space for emerging companies that are innovating in the customer contact, CX, and communication technology sectors. This zone offers high-growth startups the opportunity to showcase their solutions, connect with industry leaders, and gain visibility in a competitive market.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Startup Zone, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Company Age

  • Must be founded within the last 5 years (from the date of the event).

2. Company Size

  • Fewer than 50 full-time employees globally.

3. Revenue Stage

  • Annual revenue must be under £5 million.
  • Pre-revenue startups are welcome.

4. Innovation Focus

  • Must offer a new, disruptive, or significantly improved product or service in one or more of the following areas:
    • Contact centre technology
    • Customer experience (CX)
    • AI, automation, or analytics for customer service
    • Omnichannel communication
    • Workforce engagement or management tools
    • Voice, chat, or messaging platforms

5. Independence

  • Must not be majority-owned by a large enterprise or corporate group.
  • Operates under its own brand and leadership.

6. Funding Stage

  • Bootstrapped, angel-funded, or early-stage venture-backed (Seed to Series A).
  • Companies that have raised beyond Series B may not be eligible.
