David Mackenzie has been working on Contact Centre technology since 1986. He started as a junior programmer and worked his way through the business to eventually become Managing Director of RoyalBlue's contact centre division. He was also Technology Advisor to the CCMA. He left RoyalBlue in 1999 and after 6 year of consultancy, in 2006, he moved into Product Management working at companies including Orange Business Services, Level 3, and Vodafone UK where he was the Contact Centre Product Manager working with technology from Cisco, Avaya and Content Guru. His current role as Product Innovation Lead at JT Global Enterprise has meant he has been free to track the developments in Cloud Contact Centres, AI & Automation, and seen the start of agile Contact Centre deployments. He's also an AWS Cloud Practitioner.
