TalkTalk and Semafone innovate to deliver a ‘free digital connectivity' service for UK job seekers
In a bid to provide simple, reliable and fair connectivity to everyone during the pandemic, TalkTalk collaborated with the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) and Semafone. This seminar explains how Semafone's Cardprotect Relay+ solution was used to accept secure payments via text or email, initiating a process for TalkTalk to supply internet services to job seekers on Universal Credit or Jobseekers Allowance for free. A service that enabled them to stay connected and search for job opportunities online during the pandemic - addressing the digital divide issues that exclude people from finding employment.
